デザイナーの木村登喜夫氏は文化服装学院卒業後、数々のアパレル製産メーカーやレザークラフトメーカーなど他ジャンルを渡り歩き、2021年より自身の名前のオリジナルブランドtokioを展開。デザイナーの中にあるPUNK精神を中心にまだ見ぬものへの興味を自らの手で探求し続ける独特なブランド。デザイナー自らがクリエイションからミシンを踏むなど全てを一人でこなしている。

"PHASES MOON JACKET"
（月の満ち欠け）

tokioが画家の友人に依頼した"月の満ち欠け’’ダイナミックにそれを服全体にプリントさせた。
更に何年も使い込み、エイジングされた古着のGジャンの如く大体にも破れやホツレ、ペンキを飛ばすなどダーティーな加工を施し値性的な表情に仕上げた。しかし爽やかなホワイト地にパープルと赤で表現された月の満ち欠け柄には、ダーティーさとは裏腹にどこか妖艶さを感じる。月が満ち欠けがランダムに際立ったり、消えたり、1枚の服にtokioworks らしいアートワークを感じる1枚である。


After graduating from Bunka Fashion College, designer Tokio Kimura has worked for numerous apparel makers and leather craft makers in different genres. His unique brand tokio is centered around the PUNK spirit within the designer, who continues to explore his own interest in things yet to be seen. The designer himself does everything from creation to sewing by himself.

“PHASES MOON JACKET”

tokio commissioned a painter friend to create a “waxing and waning of the moon,” and had it dynamically printed on the entire garment.
The clothes are also finished with dirty processing, such as rips, holes, and paint chips, just like an old G-jacket that has been used and aged for many years. However, the pattern of the waxing and waning of the moon expressed in purple and red on a fresh white background is somewhat bewitching, despite the dirty look. The waxing and waning of the moon randomly stands out and disappears in a single piece of clothing, giving the impression of tokioworks' unique artwork.
