アスコットタイが付属したタイ付きシャツ。生成りにイエローとブラウンのラインが入ったタッターソール。シャツのボディと、アスコットタイ部分は、共生地。ドレスに、カジュアルにもどんなシーンでもお使いいただけそうです。

※アスコットシャツはイギリス由来で、30's〜40'sあたり、Turnbull & Asserが考案したアイテム。ヘッドカッターであったRobert Clark氏と、アメリカ人俳優のRichard Ney氏にちなんだネーミングでは"THE CLARNEY''の名称で呼ばれていました。顧客に頼まれて特注したシャツだったようです。60年代にBrooks Brothersがそのアイテムを模倣し、認知されたと言われています。

A shirt with an attached ascot tie. Tattersall pattern in white with red and navy stripes. The shirt body and ascot tie section are made from the same fabric. Suitable for both dressy and casual occasions.

*The ascot shirt originated in Britain, invented around the 1930s-40s by Turnbull & Asser. Named after head cutter Robert Clark and American actor Richard Ney, it was known as “THE CLARNEY.” It seems to have been a custom-made shirt requested by a customer. In the 1960s, Brooks Brothers is said to have imitated the item, bringing it wider recognition.
